LCB Scholarship Update!

WooHoo!

I’ve managed to make it to the interview stage getting 1 of 16 interview places out of the 42 entrants!
The interview is at the end of November! So wish me luck! 😀

You can make them in 2 types: Chilled or Baked

Baked are usually of american descent, and chilled, well, I’m not sure where it’s from, but it’s the type I prefer.

You want to get a crunchy buttery biscuit base with the soft creamy filling on top.

So, with the strawberry season virtually over, only shipped in strawberries may be available now, and one day this half term, I opened the fridge to find just under a punnet of strawberries, going slightly soft.

WonTon Crisps

So, if you’ve made some of the Dim Sum in one of the earlier posts then, like me, you’ve got a lot of wrappers left, and once defrosted can’t be re-frozen 😦

Well, heres one quick, tasty way to use up the wrappers VERY fast – WonTon Crisps
They are just like tortilla crisps, but cheaper!

After buying a reduced bamboo steamer just a couple of months ago, I thought this would be the perfect time to make some Dim Sum.
